José Ozuna was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and began his dancing career at the age of 19. Upon relocating to the USA, Jose continued to dance, act and sing. He has performed in musical theatres in Washington, D.C. and New York. Jose was a member of the dance ensemble for In the Heights – Spanish Premier. In the Heights won 9 Helen Hayes Awards including musical direction and ensemble.

Jose has been working as a certified Fitness Instructor for the past 11 years, leveraging his professional training to create a unique and special dance experience. Classes are a fun hour of dancing, toning, and strength training.
